Andrew Erickson

At-Large

Andrew Erickson, his wife, Jenni, and their son, Silas, live on their family farm in northeast Knox County. Andrew works with his dad and uncle raising corn and soybeans and he manages their wean-to-market barn finishing around 16,500 head annually on contract for the Maschhoffs.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 2016 majoring in Agribusiness. Upon graduation, he worked for the Maschhoffs as a production manager before returning home to the farm in 2019.

Andrew's dad and uncle owned and operated a farrow-to-finish operation before building their wean-to-finish barn in 2007 and partnering with the Maschhoffs. This move allowed them to expand their farming operation and allowed Andrew to come back to the farm and make a living for my family.

Andrew is a board member for Oneida Telephone Exchange (our local telephone/internet co-op), a member of the church council at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altona, a member of Knox County Farm Bureau, and a member of Knox County Pork Producers.
