"My grandfather, father and uncle have all been pork producers. I grew up on our family's grain and livestock farm. My dad and uncle had a 750-sow farrow to finish operation until 2011 when they made the decision to sell the sows and invest in a sow cooperative. My dad has served on the county level and helps with the fair each year. My uncle continues to serve on the county level as a board member and is a past member of the state pork board."
