Casey grew up on a farm in Bond County, IL focused on production grain and pigs. At an early age she cultivated her passion for agriculture through youth programs like 4-H and later FFA where she held various leadership positions.
It was her passion and enthusiasm for the industry that motivated her to study agriculture at Kaskaskia Community College before pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale (SIUC).
Casey is excited to be part of team pork at the Illinois Pork Producers Association. She hopes to combine her love of all things creative and passion for the industry to help promote pork on behalf of Illinois farmers.
Outside of work you will find Casey spending most of her time with friends and family. When she is not on the farm, her favorite pastime is to enjoy tacos, queso and laughter with some of her favorite people.
