2022 IL Pork Expo

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Illinois Pork Expo which will be held February 22nd & 23rd, 2022 at the BOS Center in Springfield, IL. The purpose of the IL Pork Expo event is to showcase and gather all the outstanding producers and businesses in our industry in one place. Agriculture in Illinois remains a leading economic driver. Specifically in the pork industry, we continue to rank 4th in the nation in pork production, generating more than two billion pounds of pork per year. Hog production and processing also contributes over $1.8 billion towards the state’s economy and stimulates Illinois’ workforce by supporting over 57,000 jobs.
Submit by DECEMBER 1, 2021 to secure booth space. See more details in the contract below. Note that auction donors will be placed around Pork Central on a first come first serve basis.

With the support of our stakeholders and the dedication of our producers, the Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA) is able to engage an active membership that is not only passionate about what they do 365 days a year but also devoted to helping us educate consumers about the value of our industry. And with over 2,000 pig farms in Illinois today, our industry will continue to be shaped by a variety of issues, including, trade agreements, consumer driven issues, prices, and the economy. Since the impact of legislative issues continues to be a big focus for IPPA and its members, now more than ever we need to be there to help our producers persevere and be a part of the process.
